What is your Riftbound card worth in Canadian dollars? Start with the same printing, the same finish and an identified source. Here is how pickacard.lol determines the price shown in its catalogue and scanner.
A Canadian price with a named source
For the same finish, the catalogue compares snapshots from Face to Face and 401 Games, then displays the lower price with the store’s name. When neither provides a usable price, it falls back to the TCGplayer reference converted to CAD using the available exchange rate. Canadian prices are not averaged with the US reference. Current prices only use snapshots no more than three calendar days old.
Match the exact printing
The champion’s name is not enough: check the set, collector number and Normal or Foil finish. Alt art and showcase printings have their own pages. The catalogue uses Normal, or Foil when that is the only listed finish. Before buying or trading, also compare the language and physical condition of the card.
From the listed price to the checkout total
The displayed price excludes tax and shipping and does not guarantee availability. A store may keep an out-of-stock listing. For several cards, compare the full basket at each seller: buying every card at its lowest price can mean paying for multiple shipments. A buylist offer measures something different from a store’s retail asking price.
A worked example with fictional amounts
For the same card and finish, Face to Face at CA$12 and 401 Games at CA$10 produce a displayed price of CA$10, sourced to 401 Games. If both Canadian prices are missing and the US reference is US$8 at an exchange rate of 1.35, the converted value is CA$10.80. That second figure is a converted US reference, not an offer from a Canadian store.
